Abalonian

This recently constructed home, perched on 13-foot pilings with a wraparound deck and an unobstructed view of the gulf and beach, is so relaxing and enjoyable that you'll find it hard to leave The Abalonian! But when you do, you'll simply walk a minute down our quiet street, which ends at the dune crossover to Mexico Beach's gorgeous white sand, sun, and waves. Located in the desirable neighborhood called: "Beach-side 98." And when you get hungry, you have an easy walk across 98 for pizza and ice cream at Crazy Beach; or to Mango Marley's for great food, fun summer drinks, sports viewing, and occasional music. On a rainy day, you can browse the colorful shops, grab a beverage at Caribbean Coffee, or run to ACE for beach chairs and coolers, which is also directly across 98. For those who fish or like fish, there's a public boat launch a half mile down the road, and the Marina has all the supplies you'll need. Next door at the Shell Shack you can get fresh steamed and spiced shrimp, or the catch-of-the-day to grill.
This spacious 3 bdrm, 2 bath house has more windows than exterior walls, with sliding glass doors to the deck from the open living area AND from two of the large bedrooms, which have king beds that overlook the gulf. The third bedroom has a queen bed, and all have smart TVs with access to cable and internet for those with Netflix or Amazon accounts. Both L/R and D/R comfortably seat six, plus 4 stools at the breakfast counter. The master bedroom is huge, including "an office with a view" for anyone who unfortunately must bring their work laptop; while the second bedroom has a sunny cozy chair that looks out across the water for the book lover. The master bathroom has a jet tub; all bedrooms have large closets; there's a laundry room, charcoal grill, walk-in shower in 2nd bath and outdoor shower below; and all beds, appliances, kitchenware, dishes, etc are new. And the south-facing deck has four comfortable chaise lounges for those who want to catch some sun in a light breeze. The large concrete pad under the house is great for parking, grilling and relaxing in an airy, shady place. Yes , parking is spacious enough to bring your boat.
